Jonathan Leathwood presentation Guitar (Yehudi Menuhin Music Guides) for Residenze Erranti project
Jonathan Leathwood presented a chapter from the book Guitar, co-authored with Richard Wright, to the Residenze Erranti artists on 13 October 2024.
His lecture offered an in-depth exploration of collaboration with composers, sharing practical examples from past experiences, while also reflecting on the very nature of the guitar. Following the talk, Jonathan engaged with questions from the audience, offering thoughtful responses that inspired hope and confidence in the creativity of future generations.
The lecture was part of the Residenze Erranti project, which was made possible with the support of Regione Lombardia through the Giovani SMART 2.0 (SportMusicaArTe) grant.
